AP is based on the simple fact that if you were alone with your child on a deserted island and there was no one around to tell you how to raise her, instinctually these are the things you would do. Dr. Sears says that attachment parenting is the way you would parent your child. He recommends bonding, breastfeeding, wear your baby, sleeping with your baby, believing in your baby’s cries and more.
